compilation still serves as a worthy offering. The

All the program content (except the final track) comes
from a new double CD compilation MUSICAL TRADITIONS
IN AUSTRALIA produced by FOLK ALLIANCE
AUSTRALIA (www.folkalliance.org.au)
offering a showcase of the diverse range of traditional
music being played in Australia today. Most of the
artists have released their own albums and most have
email or web contacts and more complete information
should appear soon on the FAA website. I was
pleased to participate in the selection process for this
project, and personally recommend the album as a most
interesting and entertaining collection of music.
