The featured album was TOGETHER AGAIN AGAIN
by O'LEARY & HILDEBRAND (self published greganol@optushome.com.au
) Greg O'Leary is a Melbourne fiddler, usually
associated with traditional Australian music, and Greg
Hildebrand, American by birth, plays and sings folk /
blues / old time material, much of it learned during the
early days of the folk revival in Greenwich Village and
beyond. An intermittent musical partnership over 25
years has finally resulted in the limited release of this
delightful album. The following tracks (all *

Today's program was turned over to concert performances
recorded at the 2000 National Folk Festival by the good
people at ArtSound FM 92.7 community radio in Canberra.
The three concerts featured Irish musician, MICHAEL
QUEALLY, Asturian band, FELPEYU and red-hot
Australian guitarist, BRUCE MATHISKE. The program
was pre-recorded as I spent the weekend many miles away
at the Port Fairy Folk Festival.

The featured album was IMAGES OF WOMEN Vol 1
by ROBIN GREENSTEIN (Windy Records) www.robingreenstein.com
This is an album of traditional folk songs about women,
sung and played by a New York performer with a strong,
resonant voice, well suited to the chosen material, with
very good guitar and banjo accompaniment. Somewhere
along the way during planning this program I seemed to
select a high proportion of songs on the theme of peace
from a 1977 LP called 'Songs For Peace' - these are
troubled times indeed. The following tracks from
Robin Greenstein were scattered through the program:

The featured album was DUSTY GRAVEL ROAD by
the West Australian band, LOADED DOG (self
published: rums@iinet,net,au
). Drawing from the poetic work of Henry Lawson,
Banjo Paterson and other Australian writers, with some
original material in there as well, this is a most
enjoyable production, uncompromisingly Australian in its
vocal presentation, and with mostly 'unadorned'
instrumental accompaniment. An important new
Australian album. The following tracks (all *
