'Come All Ye' is a folk music radio program broadcast on
2MCE-FM each Sunday from 12 to 2pm, heard across the central west of NSW, Australia, in the cities of Bathurst (92.3 Mhz) and Orange (94.7 Mhz). Bruce Cameron has hosted 'Come All Ye' since 1976, making it the longest running folk / acoustic / roots program on Australian radio still with its original presenter.

The featured album was THE OZARK SHEIKS by UNCLE CUCKLEBURR'S CHAMPION POSSUM CARVERS  www.possumcarvers.com (MayApple Records).  This Arkansas duo serves up a visceral mix of what they describe as 'early American music', rather than choosing to adapt more usual terms such as mountain music or old time, and go so far as to describe their sound as 'Rurnt' ('ruined' in the old Ozark vernacular).  This is joyously raw music, but very listenable.  The following tracks were scattered through the program:

The featured album was MANY ROADS, a self produced CD by Irish born singer songwriter MARTIN DOHERTY, a man posessed of an untainted Irish accent despite thirty years Australian residence.  Many tracks, including some originals, reflect the artist's strong commitment to issues of social justice and workers' rights, and an unromanticised awareness of their historical context.  Good vocals and sensitive accompaniment throughout make this a very good album.  The following tracks (all * Australian content) were scattered through the program:
