2MCE-FM each Sunday from 12 to 2pm, heard across the central west of NSW, Australia, in the cities of Bathurst (92.3 Mhz) and Orange (94.7 Mhz). Bruce Cameron has hosted 'Come All Ye' since 1976, making it the longest running folk / acoustic / roots program on Australian radio still with its original presenter.

The featured album was FLAME OF WINE by LASAIRFHIONA www.aransinger.com  This is the second album from a gifted singer from the Aran Islands in the west of Ireland, Lasairfhiona Ni Chonaola, the English translation of whose first name provides the CD's title. Although there is some contemporary material, the sean-nos tradition is never far away and the fine instrumental accompaniment never dominates the vocals.  Highly enjoyable album.  The following tracks were scattered through the program:

The featured album was ORKNEY AFTER SUNSET by THE WRIGLEY SISTERS WITH DAVID CAMPBELL www.wrigleysisters.com  (Attic Records).  A delightful collection of 'tales and tunes' associated with the Orkney Islands, including several examples of the work of George Mackay Brown, perhaps the best known Orcadian writer.  Some longer stories, some recitation with unobtrusive musical backing, some instrumental tracks.  All good.
