This is a newly released
collection of musical settings of Henry Lawson's poetry sung by a Blue
Mountains based singer instrumentalist, with friends. Five of the
settings are by Christine Wheeler and eight come from other composers,
some are recent works and some are not. Lawson's poetry in a female
voice doesn't always work, however, this album succeeds. The
