The featured album was ROOM ENOUGH FOR ALL by BATTLEFIELD BAND
www.battlefieldband.co.uk (Temple
Records). A 2013 release from the venerable Scottish band formed in Glasgow in the late 1960s. Still maintaining a tight, innovative sound after
many lineup changes and a million frequent flyer miles between gigs. I've yet to hear a poor album by this band (and I don't expect that I ever
will). The following tracks were scattered through the program:

www.patwictor.com (Risky Disc Records)
The CD includes nine songs, some with minor reworking, by the political (although he preferred "topical") singer songwriter, Phil Ochs

The featured album was FREEDOM HIGHWAY by RHIANNON GIDDENS
www.rhiannongiddens.com (Nonesuch).
This is the second solo album by an outstanding singer and multi-instrumentalist, perhaps best known as a member of the Carolina Chocolate Drops,
a band whose focus is African American old time string band music. Giddens had a hand in the composition of nine of twelve tracks on this album,
some in collaboration with the album's co-producer, Dirk Powell. This is a great album, including material that highlights important social and
racial issues. The following tracks were scattered through the program:
