The featured album was HOME RECORDINGS by MARTIN SIMPSON
https://martinsimpson.com (Topic)
When such a busy performing and recording artist finds himself in Covid lockdown at home in the English Peak District, this is what can be achieved with the assistance of his
regular producer, now a neighbour. This album is definitely of the same high standard as Simpson's 'studio' recordings, with the quirky addition of the sound of geese
flying overhead on one track. A typically entertaining mix of well played old and newish songs from one of the best English folk artists. The following tracks
were scattered through the program:

The featured album was SONGS DOC DIDN’T SING by DOC & MERLE WATSON (Fli Records). This is a reissue of instrumental tracks originally
released on the Flying Fish label in the 1980s. A master guitar picker from the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina, Doc Watson’s hugely influential style was a
game changer. Also a fine guitarist, Merle Watson performed with his father for fifteen years. Although both men are no longer around, this album is a worthy
first release on the Fli Records label, from Folklore International

The featured album was THE WINDMILL NEEDS THE RAIN by NEIL ADAM
www.neiladamandjudyturner.com
This extraordinary project has been a real labour of love for Neil Adam, whose interest in the 19th century Scottish writer Robert Louis Stevenson has extended over many
years. A one-time member of Scottish band Silly Wizard and a long time resident of Australia, Adam has reworked and set to music a dozen humanist "prayer-poems" written by
Stevenson in the final years of his life while living in Samoa. The website contains extensive information about the genesis of the project and how it was completed in a
challenging time of Covid-19 lockdown. The music is energetic and uplifting, with accompaniment provided (remotely) by a group of very good musicians. The following
