'Come All Ye' is a folk music radio program broadcast on 2MCE-FM each Sunday from 12 to 2pm, heard across the central west of NSW, Australia, from the cities of Bathurst (92.3 Mhz) and Orange (94.7 Mhz).  The program is streamed and later becomes available as a podcast.  Bruce Cameron has hosted 'Come All Ye' since 1976, making it the longest running folk / acoustic / roots program on Australian radio still with its original presenter.

The featured album was  ANDY IRVINE & PAUL BRADY  by  ANDY IRVINE & PAUL BRADY  (Mulligan Records).  This is a classic from 1976, recently re-released as a ‘Special Edition’ on CD and “colored vinyl”.  Both fine singers and multi-instrumentalists, Irvine and Brady performed as a duo for two years after the breakup of Planxty.  They were joined for several tracks on this highly regarded recording by Donal Lunny and Kevin Burke.  The following tracks were scattered through the program:

The featured album was  THE SEEDS OF LOVE  by  SERIOUS SAM BARRETT  (Ya Dig?)  A product of the Yorkshire folk scene, and an accomplished skateboarder (!), Barrett’s 2021 release includes two originals among reworkings of eight traditional songs to which he brings a distinctive voice and stylish guitar and banjo accompaniment.  I’m enjoying this album very much.  The following tracks were scattered through the program:

The featured album was  PRODIGAL SON  by  MARTIN SIMPSON  www.martinsimpson.com  (Topic)  A fine multi instrumentalist singer and a prolific recording artist with albums going back to 1976.  This outstanding release won Best Album at the BBC Radio 2 folk awards in 2008 with its mix of original and older songs, and should have been my featured album at least a decade before now.  The following tracks were scattered through the program:
