Rothfield, originally from Connecticut, has played Celtic and Appalachian fiddle, banjo and guitar with Allan Carr for more than forty years,
although she contributes only minimally musically to this album. Carr is a Scot and sings these songs which have varying connections to
Scotland's north-east. The couple is now based in Virginia.
